Getting the kids off to school in the morning is challenging, and the annoying dad who blocks the preschool entrance every day with his pickup truck adds to her irritation. Then she encounters the bothersome yet handsome dad, aka Ford, at his cafe, where he's a cook. Over the best po'boy she's ever eaten, Ava realizes she just might want to take a chance on Ford. As they grow closer, though, Ava's job becomes more precarious. When a full-time opportunity opens up at the paper's New Orleans bureau 80 miles away, Ava takes it. Can their relationship survive the distance and the chaos of family life and careers?
